With 30 years in education, including 17 years as an athletic director and 11 years as a coach, Jennifer Crossley has dedicated her career to developing successful athletic programs while fostering excellence in education. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing student-athletes with opportunities to excel academically, athletically, and personally while emphasizing leadership, integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
A former collegiate student-athlete, Crossley played softball at Youngstown State University, where she developed the competitive spirit and leadership skills that continue to shape her philosophy of athletic administration.
Crossley earned a bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in Sports Administration Studies from Kent State University. Throughout her career, she has served students and communities at Ashtabula Area City Schools and Geneva Area City Schools, gaining extensive experience as a teacher, coach, and athletic administrator.
As Athletic Director, Crossley provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of the school's athletic program, collaborating with coaches, student-athletes, families, and the community to create a culture of excellence and opportunity. Her focus is on ensuring every student-athlete has a positive educational and athletic experience while preparing them for success beyond high school.
Her dedication to athletic leadership has been recognized through several prestigious honors, including the Bruce Brown Award of Excellence, the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA) Athletic Director of the Year Award, the Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NEOIAAA) Athletic Director of the Year Award, and the Tim Flannery Horizon Award.
