GHS Girls Tennis Varsity vs Perry High School (3 - 2) Win in the sweltering heat and humidity. Battling through several injuries the eagles over took the pirates with a first dubs tiebreaker battle to get the team win, Molly Frazier/ Lucy Peterson 3-6, 7-5, T 10-4. Victories at 2S Hannah Dunn 6-1, 6-0 and 3S Parker Miller 6-3, 7-5 earlier in the match put the team in striking range. 1S Ashlyn Thompson 2-6, 4-6 and 2D Lillian Doering/ Delaney Kobus 3-6, 2-6 put forth amazing effort given the conditions. Great job today ladies! Finish the week strong at home versus Lakeside tomorrow.
