GHS Girls Tennis Varsity vs Mayfield High School Loss The lady eagles battled hard against a seasoned Mayfield team that in the end won out with their consistency. First singles Ashlyn Thompson came back to win her second set 6-2, after a first set loss of 4-6, forcing a third set dual with an overall match time of 2 1/2 hours narrowly losing the third 4-6. Hannah Dunn (2S 1-6, 5-7) and Parker Miller (3S 3-6, 4-6) rallied in their second sets while doubles partners Molly Frazier/ Lucy Peterson (1D 4-6, 0-6) worked well together and Lillian Doering/ Delaney Kobus (2D 0-6, 0-6) continue to improve their communication in their first match with one another.
